landon_picture.jpgLandon Nordeman is a photographer based in New York City. His assignments have taken him from Austria to Australia, Buenos Aires to Budapest, Nebraska to New Zealand. In addition to his work for National Geographic, Landon has produced award-winning photographs for national and international publications such as The New Yorker, Smithsonian, The Atlantic Monthly, Sports Illustrated and Saveur. His photographs have been recognized by Communication Arts, Pictures of the Year International, The Best of Photojournalism, American Photography and Photo District News among others.

He has been called upon to document life in a broad range of environments, from a town of 300 people-Basin, Montana-for National Geographic to a wedding with 300 guests for Town & Country's annual weddings issue. Whether shooting an assignment for National Geographic, a campaign for Samsung, or a local grant project, Nordeman develops a personal connection with his subjects and searches for unexpected moments that tell their story.
